Roy Lee has been covering George’s music since it was first released to country radio in 1981. Covering all other artists as well. Waiting anxiously for each album release so he could perform the latest greatest song from the King of Country Music even to this current date!

In 2003 Roy Lee recorded his first album The Flying Cowboy. This album consisted primarily of self-penned songs. Right before the studio sessions began Roy Lee decided to write a good two stepper to add at the last minute. Of course, it was so easy to write a genuine tribute to his biggest influence as a country singer. The song LIKE GEORGE praises George’s dedication to his lifestyle on a Texas ranch, Faith, Family and Country Music.
